Plan branding details that work on stretch fabric and remain consistent with the approved garment.
A logo that looks good on a screen may feel uncomfortable or distort on stretch fabric. Define the position, maximum dimensions, colour and intended look. Consider skin contact, movement and fabric texture. Ask which branding methods suit the actual material rather than choosing embroidery, transfer or printing only by price.
Review the logo on the intended fabric and garment location. Check stretching, edges, feel and appearance after care-label washing. Request production artwork in an appropriate format and verify the spelling and colour references. A photo can help approve placement, but it cannot establish how the logo feels or behaves through wear.
Care, fibre content, origin and business-identification requirements depend on the destination market and product. Have the responsible importer or a qualified adviser check the applicable rules before printing labels. Do not treat a generic label template as legal approval. Claims about recycled materials or certifications need evidence linked to the actual product and supply chain.
Ask for separate prices and minimums for woven labels, printed care labels, hangtags, logo application and bags. Confirm what happens to unused labels after the first order and who owns stored artwork. Ensure packaging quantities do not force you into a much larger garment order. A simple package can be suitable for a test launch if it protects the product and presents the required information clearly.
Use one approved file version for each item. Record dimensions, placement measurements, colours, size marks, barcode responsibilities and packing instructions. Check that the garment size matches the bag and hangtag if those items carry size information. Agree who checks mixed-size cartons before dispatch. Small labelling mistakes can create unnecessary customer-service work even when the garment itself is well made.
Not always. Start with product protection and accurate information, then add branding within the budget.
Use references to explain positioning, but do not copy protected artwork or imply an affiliation.
